Middle Kingdom Territorial Baron(ess) Wording

All Nobility, know by these presents that we (name of Sovereign), King (Queen) by right of arms of the Middle Kingdom, and (name of Consort), our Queen (King), having heard petition from the Barony of (name of Barony) and well pleased with the service of our subject (name of recipient) are minded to create him/her Baron(ess) of our Barony of (full name of Barony), to have and main tain for us and our successors in fealty and honor those aforesaid lands. We further be stow upon him/her all rights and responsibilities thereto appertaining, and the right to employ, without let or hindrance, all symbols and ornaments of that position from this time onward including the right to bear the arms (blazon of the Barony’s registered arms).

Henceforth he/she shall be known by his/her coronet of gold ornamented with pearls.

East Kingdom Territorial Baron / Baroness Wording

To all to whom these presents come, be it known that We, (names of King & Queen), King and Queen of these Eastern lands, desiring to maintain the peace and welfare of the good folk or (name of Barony), do by these letters invest Our trusty and well-beloved friend, (name of recipient) with the title and dignity of Baron/Baroness (name of Barony). and We do charge him/her to be both bold and steadfast in the defense of his/her people in war and peace, counting always their welfare above his/her own, as befits the Shield and Staff of his/her demesne. And We do bestow upon him/her these arms by Grant:

Atlantia Territorial Barony Wording

There are no predefined scroll texts for the Territorial Baronage. The creation of a new

Territorial Baron or Baroness is an event of such singular importance to so many people that a unique scroll text will be prepared for each occurrence.

Artemisia Landed Baron/Baroness Wording

Note: the investiture of a landed Baron and Baroness is also very rare and should likewise be given attention by making a unique text for this, too. Consultations would be the same as for founding Baron and Baroness text.

Know all before whom these letters may come, that we, <King> and <Queen>, King and Queen of Artemisia, being well pleased with the service of Our subject(s), <name(s)>, do wish to reward (him/her/them) with Our fief of the Barony of <Barony's name>. We grant (him/her/them) the rights, and charge them with the responsibilities of the rank of territorial (Baron/Baroness/Baron and Baroness) in Our realm, that (he/she/they) may care for Our lands and Our people.
