West Kingdom Order of Chivalry Wording

Kingdom Text:

Trimaris Order of the Chivalry Wording

Text note: The verbiage for patents in not generally standard within Trimaris. Individual texts are most often created to suit each candidate. These two texts are intended as guides only.

Know ye by these present that We, the Crown Trimaris, King and Queen of Trimaris, having elevated you, _________________________ , into, do hereby charge you to fulfill the responsibilities of the rank as befits a peer of Our Realm, and do further confirm upon you the privileges and rights thereto . Middle Kingdom Orders of Chivalry Wording

Special Note: If the recipient already has arms by Letters Patent (i. e. is a member of the order of the Pelican, Laurel or in some cases the Rose or Royal Peerage) omit the heraldic confirmation in parentheses.

All Gentles and Nobles know by these presents that we (name of Sovereign), King (Queen) by right of arms of the Middle Kingdom, and (name of Consort), our Queen (King), in consideration of his/her courtesy, chivalry, and skill both on and off the field of battle, do of our especial grace and certain knowledge recognize (name of recipient) as a Knight/ Master of Arms of the Society, to be in all places of honour numbered a Peer of our Realm and a member of the Order of Chivalry, with all rights, privileges, insignia, precedence, and responsibilities thereto ap pertaining. (And furthermore do we confirm upon him/her by Letters Patent the right to bear (heraldic description of registered arms or “arms as duly registered with the College of Arms of the Society”).) Meridies Order of Chivalry Wording

Know ye by these presents and good greetings that We, (Sovereign's name) and (Consort's name), Sovereign and Consort of Meridies, have elevated Our Subject (Recipient's name) unto the rank of Knight of the Society for Creative Anachronism, and that We do hereby charge [him/her] to fulfill the responsibilities of this rank as befits a Peer of Our Realm, and to hold these Arms by Letter Patent as blazoned and emblazoned, and registered with the College of Arms: (BLAZON). We further bestow unto [him/her] the privileges and rights attendant thereto. Signed by Our Hands this (number) day of (month) Anno Societatis (Society year), being (year) Gregorian.

Lochac Order of Chivalry Wording

Let it be known that We Name by right of Arms King of Lochac and Name by grace and beauty, Queen of Lochac give greetings.

We are pleased to admit unto our Order of the Chivalry recipients name. He has shown great skill on the field, great knowledge of tactics and strategy, and he has demonstrated courteous behavior and has achieved a diverse range of accomplishments as well as the respect of his peers. He has gone further and taught these skills and knowledge, further enhancing our Kingdom through armored combat. Through his service he has enriched the play of our populace.

We now bestow on him the title of Knight with all rights and privileges appertaining thereto and thus to be taken in all places as a Peer of Our Realm.We further confer a Patent of Arms and confirm to wit; enter arms as registered with the college of heralds.

East Kingdom Order of Chivalry (Master-at-Arms) Wording

To all to Whom these presents do come, let it be known that (name of recipient) has proven his/her Chivalry and prowess on the field of honor, and his/her nobility and his/her accomplishments in the myriad gentle skills so prized by the people of the Eastrealm are known to all. Therefore do We, (name of King), King by right of arms, and (name of Queen), Our Queen, hearing the acclaim of his/her peers, find him/her worthy to don the Baldric of a master/mistress of arms, and joyfully receive him/her into the Chivalry of Our realm. and as a further sign and token of his/her newfound estate do We bestow upon him/her these arms by letters patent, to wit: (blazon or blank space to be filled in later), which shall be borne hence-forth by master/mistress (name of recipient) and no other throughout the Known World. In witness whereof We set Our
