Kurushima Yoshiatsu, Award of Arms, 2009
We, Roak and Jocea, King and Queen of
Ealdormere, have noted that Kurushima Yoshiatsu is skilled in the ways of the
sword, and is willing to teach this skill to others. He stands as a man at arms to the rulers of
Ben Dunfirth. He also knows that the
powerful swordsman does not go hungry, and so does he share his cooking with
others. For this, we would bestow upon him an Award of Arms. He may now bear arms as registered within
this Society and use the noble title of Lord.
By our hands and seal this twenty-seventh day of June, in the
forty-fourth year of the Society in Ben Dunfirth.

Hear the words of
Edward, Wolf King, and Rylyn, Trillium Queen:
Long has Hans Thorvaldsson served Our People. He has served Our Vassals as Seneschal of
Septentria. He has served our Army as
Commissar, and as an armoured combat marshal.
He has served as campmaster to the Canton of Eoforwic for many years at
Pennsic. And he has served tasty food,
both in the field and in feast halls throughout our Kingdom. Such service to hearts, minds and stomachs
must not go unrecognized, so today, on campaign in the Debatable Lands, we make
him a Companion of Our Order of the Wain, and bestow upon him a Grant of
Arms. Let him now be called Honourable
Lord, and display the badge of the order and the Crest of the Kingdom as is his
rightful due. Done this ninth day of
August anno Societatis 46, as witness our hands and seal.

Skallagrim the Frenzied, Order of the Pelican, 2012
True, North, Strong and Free.
So he stands, in thought and deed to the Northern
Shires and Ealdormere.
We, Roak and Elizabeth, King and Queen, elevate
Skallagrim the Frenzied into Our Noble Order Of The Pelican for his service and
guidance as officer and leader in the Northlands.
He shall have letters patent and all honours,
duties, rights and privileges conveyed by this station. Done this 22nd day of
September, Anno Societatis 47 at Our Coronation.

TSivia bas Tamara v'Amberview, Order of the Pelican, 2009
We, Etain and Valfreya King and Queen of
Ealdormere do agree with wise counsel that TSivia bas Tamara v’Amberview has
for some time been displaying those noble virtues accustomed to be observed in
companions of Our faithful and respected Order of the Pelican. This lady espouses the virtue of Faith
through her unbroken oaths, seeking the right and good in all. She espouses
Hope through her example and her care for the future of the Kingdom. She
espouses Charity in her generous nature and caring spirit for all those in
need. She espouses Fortitude through strength of character and action, and
Justice through striving to do what is right. She espouses Temperance by
seeking the way of moderation, and Prudence through her thought and deeds,
governed by wisdom. As the Pelican
nourishes her young with her blood through self-sacrifice, so has Tsivia served
her Crown and Kingdom. It has been remarked that this lady’s steps should be
imitated; thus We are further encouraged to recognize her as a Companion of Our
Order of the Pelican. She shall agree to observe the statutes, laws, privileges
and liberties of this noble Order in good faith. We also require that she will
uphold the honour of Our kingdom, and will counsel the Crown in things lawful
and honest. In return this Mistress of the Pelican shall have and possess, now
and hereafter all honors, tokens, titles, burdens and privileges afforded to
one of such station, including these Arms by Letters Patent as previously
conferred which she may freely and without impediment carry with her both
coming and going, throughout all lands. Moreover we will and decree that these
things made known on this seventh day of March anno Societatis forty three in
Our Shire of Trinovantia Nova be recorded by Our Heralds so that all may know
of this worthy accomplishment. As witness our hands and seal.

greetings from Malik, King of Ealdormere and belted Knight, and from Genevieve,
Queen of Ealdormere (2).

Having received in camera the wise counsel of Our co-equal Orders of Chivalry (3), which counsel has been confirmed in Our court before all; and,

Being well pleased Ourselves to wield the triplet sword of legend (4) and to bestow the accolade, We here do elevate you to the station and degree of Knight and do invest you with the belt, chain and spurs of Our Knighthood.

2. This Malik and Genevieve were the thirteenth Crown of a free Ealdormere, successors to Berus II and Marion II .

3. Being the Order of Knighthood, which Order’s Principal for this Kingdom was Viscount Sir Edward the Red, and the Order of Mastery of Arms, which Order’s Principal was Master Worgen son of Thorbjorn, called McGreggor.
