we (name of Sovereign) King (Queen) by right of arms of the Middle Kingdom, and
(name of Consort) our Queen (King), have witnessed skill, devotion and support

are therefore minded to create him/her a member of Our Order of the Cavendish Knot. We bestow
upon him/her all rights and responsibilities attendant upon this rank, and as
token of this honor the right to bear the badge: Four Cavendish knots conjoined
